German Special Chars like ä,ü,ö in video Sitemap Youtube Title and Desctription

Only in Youtube Video title and description tag german special chars like ä,ü,ö are not utf-8 encoded in the video_sitemap.xml file.
It looks like this: Ziergräser

Any idea whats the problem here?
