« on: November 15, 2015, 02:22:46 PM »
Hi

In case I want to exclude URL :

http://abc.com/jp
http://abc.com/jp/xxx.html (s)

I have to enter in "Exclude URLs:"  all of each urls or just ..
http://abc.com/jp/
or
http://abc.com/jp/*

is enough.

Also to delete URLs in Google WebMaster Tools for whatever http://abc.com/jp/xxx they are indexed, Can I enter

http://abc.com/jp/ or http://abc.com/jp/*

or I have to enter all http://abc.com/jp/xxx.html (s) urls.

Thanks & Best Regards

Hello,

you can add "jp/" (whtout domain) in Exclude URLs to remove all URLs that include "jp/" substring.

Hi

And what it should be in Google WebMaster Tools :

jp/
jp/*

--- or
http://mydomain.conm/jp
http://mydomain.conm/jp*

--- or
http://mydomain.conm/jp/full_url

Please help me to pass this hard time. Duplicate contents from failed translation plug-in existed for more than 4000 pages that I have to delete from google indexing urgently.

Thanks & Best Regards

In this case I'd recommend to block it with robots.txt:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /jp/
