404 Error when I go to mysite.com/generator

I followed the installation instructions correctly but [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] gives me 404 error.  I created a generator folder in my site's root directory (public_html)  then I put all the contents of the [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] folder when I unzipped it.  Created sitemap.xml and changed permission to 666.  Opened generator folder, and changed permission for data folder to 777.   Why do I get 404 error?  What did I do wrong?

This is already resolved.  My web host fixed this for me.  I think the issue has something to do with redirections.
