2QS: New pages not added in the sitemap. Security.

Hi,

1st of all, thanks for your help.  You need to update your documentation I think to suggest php server setting
I am not able to use web interface to create a sitemap, but I use cpanel cron job and it works fine Google accepted the map.
- I added new topic to my forums to test if generator adds new page. I had 13771 pages, added a new one, runned your script, but the #of the pages inside sitemap stays the same. 13771 and not 13772. We use  "server's response" settings for the "last modification"
- We want to protect /generator folder with htaccess. Is it OK, or script won't work? If not, what can we do here, cause in-build login/pass system doesn't work properly. I set up a pass, but my partner was able to access without any password. So we need a better protection.

yes - you can add .htaccess protection and sitemap generator will work fine.

It is possible if he accessed generator before you defined the password, so it was still marked as "logged in".
