Coverage of Sitemap

My sitemap contains 20156 links. But only 4.9k links are valid and indexed rest links are excluded. How should I fix this

Hello,
sitemaps are used to inform search engines about the pages (that's the number of "Submitted" pages). Indexing though (and showing indexed pages stats) takes time and depends on many other factors, not related to sitemap.
