Have just purchased and installed the PHP sitemap generator script, and every time I generate a sitemap, sitemap.xml ends up empty. I checked urllist.txt and that has 15 URLs in, which are the ones I would expect to see in the sitemap, but nothing.
If I use the free online generator tool at
https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ it works correctly and generates a good sitemap.xml, but not with the php script.
I have installed and run the script on another website and it all worked first time, so i am pretty sure it is installed correctly.
The only difference I can see is that the two websites are hosted by two different hosting companies, so this is the only clue I have. Both companies use Apache. Both websites are Joomla sites.
Any pointers as to where I might start looking ?!
