I need some advice please

Hi
i'm new so please bear with me. Could someone put me straight on this i did a quick look in my public html folder
to see what html pages were loaded, but their all php files will this have any affect with creating a sitemap with the google sitemap generator? i only asked this because i'm use to only html pages before which i made up but these php files have thrown abit any advice would be appreciated on this issue
