Recently moved one of my sites to a new server and when I ran XML-Sitemap generator (v8.1) it ran ok for a while then half way through just errors out, crashing my site. Only by chance when reviewing things via cpanel/file manager that I saw site directory permissions had changed from 755 to 666. Changed it back to 755 and site came back, repeated XML sitemap generator again and exactly same thing happened. Got in touch with hosting techs who could see no issues or errors in logs. Any ideas?
