Google returns an error

I have generated sitemaps for two websites, one was accesed by google, however the other google returns an error stating "Unsupported file format - Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format"

I have looked inside both sitemaps and both look about the same (except the page names), so I cannot see why google does not execpt the files.

Can anyone help!

what is the sitemap URL you submit?

The site url is [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ], I placed the sitemap in the root folder, as I did with the website that works.

Let me know if you need any more information.

Thanks for that.  I has also sbmitted the sitemap from another computer and it was accepted, so I do not know what happened, just one of those things
