Time out error from site

so i get this message during CRAWLING

The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

    *   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
          moments.

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
          that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

This process is taking a REALLY REALLY long time
i cant imaging there is more then 700 to 1000 pages on the site as it is a shopping cart with only 600 items allocated in it.

please try to increase max_execution_time and memory_limit settings in php configuration. What exactly is "really long" in your case?

What is a long time : its currently running over and over again for 2 hrs

My Settings:
Maximum pages: 0
"0" for unlimited
Maximum depth level: 0
"0" for unlimited
Maximum execution time, seconds: 9000
"0" for unlimited
Save the script state, every X seconds: 240
this option allows to resume crawling operation if it was interrupted. "0" for no saves

ok it stopped again
so the time it took to stop would be from the time i last posted til this posting

It should be changed in php configuration (php.ini), not in sitemap generator  config.
