xml parsing error after adding apache 301 redirects
« on: May 21, 2008, 08:25:10 AM »
Hi all,

Last week I generated a sitemap for my site and it wokred perfectly. Since then I set up 301 redirects -- 3 of them, since there is a second domain parked at my hosting account, all the apache htaccess way, to point to www -- and now the generator will follow only one link off my index.php. It also generates an XML parsing error "no element found" @ line 1, column 1.

Can you shed any light on this? I'm assuming it must have to do with the redirects, but I don't know why it would see one link and not all the rest.

Thanks much.

Hello,

make sure that you have Starting URL specified with correct domain name in sitemap generator configuration.
