How can i monitorin the progress on the creating of the sitemap

When i give a manual instruction to start creating a sitemap. I get a page showing the progress and indicating how many pages are indexed. But after a while the page loading is completed but the creation of the site map was far from completed.

Where and how can i monitor the progress untill completion?

You can open Crawling page and in case if sitemap generator is currently running in background you will see the progress state displayed.

Sorry to say but this does not work. If i return to the crwaling page it does not show there is a session running. And i have not a completed sitemap. Is ther any way to do some logging? can i turn a log file on?

Please help me out... currently i can not use the tool where i bought it for.

it means that generator is not running at that moment, you should enable "resume generation" checkbox and start generator again.
