Blank Page after uploading site map
« on: November 15, 2008, 11:37:55 AM »
Anyone out there? Site map was created. I copied the code and pasted it to the appropriate page.

The site is php

The name of the page is the root: [external links are visible to admins only]

or /sitemap/xml.php

The page works, but when I put in the site map, the page comes up blank.

is this compatable with php?
Am I missing something?  ???

Thanks.

Hello,

you should always submit sitemap as sitemap.xml, NOT sitemap.php.

When I create a file:

[external links are visible to admins only]
It doesn't come up as an active file, rather I get this error message:

How do I create the file exactly in order for it to work on this Earthlink, php system?
Thanks.
Scott

You should put sitemap.xml in domain root folder, not in webdocs/ subfolder. Perhaps you should contact your host on how to upload file to your server since it looks like they have some kind of restrictions for that.
