duplicate welcome page...can one be deleted
« on: April 14, 2009, 10:08:32 PM »
Hi folks.  Hoping for some help. New to the forum and site map generating...I used the free site generator and on reviewing it saw that I have both a welcome page and a welcome page /index. Since I obviously messed up somewhere along the line for the generator to find two index pages....how should I go about eliminating one?  The site is done in Dreamweaver...is my problem in my local files or could it be a server thing?  In dreamweaver everything is based on links from and to jmcmanagement.ca/index as my welcome page...but on the sitemap it shows jmcmanagement.ca/ as the main priorty file for a welcome page. I can't see leaving two welcome pages on a sitemap. Thanks...Sibley

You can try to submit domain.com/index as Starting URL when creating sitemap.
