How do I find the sitemap url, please?

Sorry, complete newbie here. I created and installed the free sitemap into my public folder, but don't know how to get the url. Just www . domain . com / sitemap . xml? Thank you.

I figured it out (trial and error). I had entered the sitemap . xml into the public_html folder but that didn't work because I have so many sub-domains (duh). So I uploaded it to the domain name's root folder and called it www. domain . com / sitemap . xml - that worked.
