Have followed the instructions for installation of the free site map exactly but still keep getting an http error - 404 error not found. Have cleaned out my registry but still have the problem. In reading some of the other discussions I noticed a reference to various permission codes. No where in the instructions did I read anything about permission codes. Any help will be appreciated.

in case of free online generator you should only upload resulting sitemap files (sitemap.xml) to your domain root, no need to change any permissions.
