Adding a line at the beginning?
« on: July 20, 2005, 02:02:05 PM »
Hi-
I downloaded the software today and had it manually crawl my domain.  I get the following error when I try to view the resulting XML document:

"XML Parsing Error: xml processing instruction not at start of external entity
Location: [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]
Line Number 2, Column 1:"

This appears to be attributable to an extra line added prior to the XML output, i.e the <?XML tag starts on line 2.  When I manually remove this line and reupload the XML file it displays fine.

Is this problem occurring due to something I did?  Or is this a bug in the software that needs to be fixed?
Since the source is protected, I cannot edit it myself.

Here is the link: [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you..

Hi,

thank you for reporting. This issue seems to happen in rare cases depending on the server configuration.
Please download the new Generator v1.07 and give it a try :)

Thanks for the response.
Where would I download this new version?
And if I purchased the software this morning, how come I didn't get the new one?

Hi George,

Thanks for the response.
Where would I download this new version?

I sent you the download link in PM.

And if I purchased the software this morning, how come I didn't get the new one?

this version was released a moment before I wrote the previous message :)

That's right, George. The same link is used to download the recent version of Generator script.
