Can this be used for Joomla PHP Sites?

I've tried creating a sitemap for my Jommla/php/Virtuemart site using your free online version, however, 24 hours after submitting to Google none of the pages have been indexed, not even the homepage. I've submitted both a txt and xml version but neither has started to index, although both have a green check mark under the "submitted" column in google webmaster tools section.

Any ideas?

it is up to Google to index your site faster or slower, sitemap just helps search engines to find your pages easier.
