Sitemap generator not indexing all pages

Hi there,

The sitemap generator is missing around 12 pages on our site. Originally it picked them all up when we put in the root URL without a www. prefix.  Then our developer confirmed our root URL has got a www. prefix so we input that but this time not all the pages were indexed (the devloper put in a facilty to create new pages in the CMS for us but these are being created with a non www. URL). Since then the devloper has put 301 redirects on all pages to add a www. prefix to them. The sitemap generator still is not picking up the pages with a non www. prefix, any suggestions??

you should make sure that all links are pointing (not redirected) to the same subdomain, either www- or non-www.

How do we do this? Do we have to change the URLs completeley so they all have a www. prefix?

That depends on your site backend, you should contact your site developer for that.
