Request for crawling after install

Just installed the trial version.

After running the configuration, getting info that:
Sitemap was not generated yet, please go to Crawling page to start crawler manually or to setup a cron job.

After running Crawl the error is:
There was an error while retrieving the URL specified: [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]\/
Error message: Error opening socket to [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]\
HTTP headers follow:

HTTP output:

Please advise.
