How to upgrade from v2.8

I've been using xml-sitemaps for a couple of years with great success.
I see the current version has several nice features that my version does not.
QUESTION:
How can I upgrade from v2.8, 2007-12-27?

Sorry, it was initially written for older generator version, where not all files were uploaded. In current version just upload all the files form the package.
