Images Problem

I was checking the "include images" option and I noticed later on Google Webmaster Tools the sitemap.xml.gz was the type of "images" only.  In other words, Google was only recognizing image entries and not the normal URL listings.

Can someone clarify if I am missing something?

Hello,

it means that google has detected images included in sitemap as well. That should not be a problem, however, you can separately create a sitemap with images setting disabled (in a file with different name) and submit it to google as well.
