Internal server error

Hello,
I have recently installed the standalone sitemap generator and followed all the instructions.  However, I could not find the sitemap generator in the website after loading all the files.  It says "internal server error" Pls refer to this site link [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

May i know what might have i missed?

I have found similar issues in this forum, but the solution is nowhere being offered publicly.  Please help me out. thanks

Make sure that you have 0755 permissions set for generator/ folder.

hi, it's currently 0755 permission for the generator folder and still has the 500 internal server error.

I changed the file permission of index.php to 0744, and now comes another error:

Warning: Unexpected character in input: ''' (ASCII=39) state=1 in /home/technoga/public_html/generator/pages/page-config.inc.php on line 2

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/technoga/public_html/generator/pages/page-config.inc.php on line 2
