Cant stop the sitemaps

HI, the sitemap generator keeps creating sitemaps, i guess it is with the cron job, but it keeps making them non stop, please help as i don't know how to stop it

Hello,

you can try to rename generator folder to "generator2" - in this way if you have any cron task, it shouldn't start generator anymore.

The thing is i want to use cron jobs, but not consistently for the rest of time, it just kept going and going, one after the other,

Make sure that you setup it correctly, i.e. do NOT put "*" for "minutes" or "hours".
