Sitemap Generator Forum

Hello again,
Just had a thought (uhoh! <G>)....
Might there be a good reason to post a link on your HomePage pointing to the sitemap.xml location?
My thought is are there other search engines ( NOT the malicious S.O.B.'s!), other than Google, implimenting this efficient method of crawling sites?

Hi Mark,

there is no other SE (besides Google) known to use the xml sitemap technology so far, so there is no need to put a link to sitemap.xml at your site
