To install on local PC

I was looking for an application for installing on the local PC which would generate an XML sitemap, not (server or PHP - what ever that is? )

although it is possible to run Standalone Sitemap Generator on local PC (that will require to install web-server software like Apache on your computer with PHP support), please note that it is optimal to install sitemap crawler on the same server where your site is hosted for better performance and suitability (otherwise you will have to manually upload resulting sitemap files to your host).
