I suppose adding media/images to RSS can be done in 2 directions :
1. quick - in RSS, at item level, <enclosure> sub-element of <item> should accept/detect all MIME type ( images also not only audio and video )

Maybe <enclosure url="<TVAR iurl>" type="image/MIME TYPE"></enclosure> could be the quick fix, but I am not a programmer. This should allow showing images inside <item>
2. complete solution - via mRSS that would satisfy images, video and audio eso. This would also enrich SEO of the site as Google Webmasters Tools , Yahoo and Bing also accept RSS , thus will intake aditionally feeded SEO elements, existing on page.
