how can I only index a part of the website
« on: August 11, 2019, 10:16:23 PM »
Hello,

I want to create a sitemap of only a part of my website. So instead of using starting URL [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] I want to make a map of [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

But when I enter in the configuration a starting URL [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]  the generator does ignore the depth level. It only creates a sitemap of that one pages. How do I need to configure this?

Your help is appreciated.

Hello,

do you have the rest of the links also located in that "/part/" folder? It should work correctly in this case.

What "other links" are you referring to?
The only other links I can configure are pointing to where the sitemap.xml is located.

Do you perhaps mean the links in the pages that I want to index must be having the same first part of the URL and may not refer to pages in other parts of my site?
