Is there URL Length Limitation?

I'm seeing a lot of files in my error logs where the file being requested is cut off at 64 characters.  Ex:

www/newsletters/aha-coding-clinic/icd/long-term-care-coding-iss
www/newsletters/aha-coding-clinic/icd/long-term-care-issues-I16
www/newsletters/aha-coding-clinic/icd/long-term-current-drug-us
www/newsletters/aha-coding-clinic/icd/long-term-use-sedatives-o

I suspect it is from the crawler.  Is there a limitation on URL length?
