Non-intuitive error message

I tried to use the free generator on a website I manage and got this error:


An error occured

There was an error while accessing the URL specified: [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]
Please make sure to specify the correct website URL and resubmit your request.

That doesn't tell me what the error was or how to correct it. What do I need to do to fix the error?

I know the URL is correct any advice on how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated.

you can use our http headers viewer to find out details, your site returns 403 forbidden error to sitemap generator:

                It must have an error in the url or the domain of that has been expired.
