Cannot log in to my control panel

Cannot log in to my Standalone Sitemap Generator control panel.  I did not change password or anything and after upgrading I could not log in.  I have overwrote all files, but still cannot log in.

What do I do?

try to manually open generator/data/generator.conf file and empty these settings in it:
   <option name="xs_login"></option>
   <option name="xs_password"></option>

I'm having the same problem. Are you saying we should open www.mysite.comgenerator/data/generator.conf?? I can't do that. And what do you mean by "empty these settings?"

For other reading this, I downloaded the file mentioned via ftp and edited it in a text editor.

<option name="xs_login">REMOVE THIS TEXT IF ANY</option>
<option name="xs_password">REMOVE THIS TEXT IF ANY</option>

The two lines above should look like this:

<option name="xs_login"></option>
<option name="xs_password"></option>

Then re-upload.

I don't have the file "generator.config". When I follow the path: generator/data/... all I have are these files:

placeholder. txt
sitemap. html
sitemap. xml
urllist. txt

I don't get it..

I do not know how to upgrade my to the current version of sitemap generator. Please help me. I can not access the generator at all. The only tab that works is the "Documentation" tab.

Thank you. However, I did not receive any download link for a current version. In fact, I don't even know what version I currently have. All I know is that a couple weeks ago I tried to log in to manage my sitemap as usual and it wouldn't let me. It was suggested to me on this forum that the problem may be the version of Sitemap generator I am running. Will this fix it? Please help.
